Yes, you can enter your song sung by another person under ‘Original’ category if you hold all rights to the song.
ISBSC is essentially a music competition, so you are eligible to enter any song, but it will be judged primarily of its musical merit and then on its lyrical content.
You can enter as many categories as you are eligible to enter, as long as you pay for each entry.
You can enter as many songs as you like. Each song will be considered one unique entry and each Age Group under which you enter, will be considered one unique entry. For example, if you are 14 years old, you are eligible to compete under two Age Groups – Youth (20 years and under) and Universal (any Age), so you can enter one song under any or both categories by paying entry fee for every entry you make.
Every unique entry is charged @ INR701 (Indian Rupees seven Hundred & One). Entries from outside of India will be as per prevailing conversion rate.
Yes, songs longer than 10 minutes are not eligible, so if your song is longer than 10 minutes, please submit an abridged version to make it maximum 10 minutes long.
We encourage you to enter your song at the nearest Category you think is logical, and pay the entry fee. At our end, we will enter it into the correct category if eligible, and inform you. If ineligible, your entry fee will be refunded.
All entries from within India must be received by 11:59PM IST and all entries from outside of India must be received by 11:59pm ET (New York/Toronto time) on 30 October 2024.
The results will be announced in early 2025 on sanatansangeet.org portal, and on our media partners’ online/print portals. The winners will also be personally informed by email.
